When you use HotGrid, we collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, upload photos of your collection, or define custom data fields. This includes:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication data provided by third-party login providers (Google, GitHub, etc.).
• User Content: Photos of items you upload and the metadata associated with them.
• Usage Data: Analytics about how you interact with the application to help us improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve HotGrid.
• Process your photos using AI to extract data and generate similarity embeddings.
• Personalize your experience and manage your dynamic datasets.
• Communicate with you about updates or support.

3. Data Storage and AI Processing

Your photos and data are stored securely. We use third-party AI services (such as Google Gemini) to process images for data extraction. We do not claim ownership of your photos, but by uploading them, you grant us a license to process them for the purpose of providing the service.

4. Deleting Your Data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the app, or by emailing support@hotgrid.app. Deletion removes your account, collection, photos, posts, comments, reactions and follows. Payment records for purchased credits are kept by our payment processor, Stripe, as required for tax and accounting. See Delete Your Account for step-by-step instructions.
